Causes and solutions for LED strip light blinking

Power supply problem

1. Unstable voltage:

- Cause: Blinking may be caused by a poor connection between the power plug, socket or power cord of the LED light strip. This may be caused by a loose plug, aging socket, damaged power cord, etc.

Thirdly, the LED strip light does not match the driving power supply. If the parameters of the LED strip light and the driving power supply are inconsistent, for example, the rated power of the LED strip light is greater than the output power of the driving power supply, or the rated voltage of the LED strip light is less than the output voltage of the driving power supply, the LED strip light may flash. Finally, the brightness of some light strips on the market needs to be achieved through dimming, and dimming is precisely a cause of flicker. Therefore, when the product is loaded with dimming function, flash tends to be further aggravated. Especially when the dimming is darker, the fluctuation depth is relatively large.

- Repair method:

- Check whether the appearance of the driver is obviously damaged, such as burning, deformation, etc. If so, a new driver should be replaced.

- Use tools such as multimeters to detect whether the output voltage and current of the driver are normal. If not, a new driver should be replaced.

- Choose a LED driver power supply produced by a large factory with technical strength, a LED driver power supply with a well-known brand and good reputation, because a good LED driver must have passed various tests. - Cause: If the switch is in poor contact or damaged, it may cause the LED strip to flash. This may be caused by the switch being used for too long, quality problems, etc.

- Repair method: Replace with a new switch. When choosing a switch, you should choose a product with reliable quality and a well-known brand to ensure the performance and life of the switch.
