The LED Neon flexible strip light installation

There are two kinds of LED SMD neon flex strips commonly used on the market, one is without copper wire in the neon strip, and the other is with copper wire in the neon strip. Today we will share LED  neon strip rope lights installation.

Usually, the installation accessories used for LED neon flex strip lights are as follows.From left to right: fixing clips with screws, flame retardant plastic long groove, aluminum mounting groove, aluminum slot chain.

Fixing clips with screws is suitable for 360 degree lighting  effect LED neon flexible light,D shape flexible LED neon light,and double side lighting effect neon led flexible light.

Flame retardant plastic long groove is suitable for most neon flex light,except double lighting effect LED neon rope light since it has two sides with light.

Aluminum mouting groove is suitable for single side lighting effect LED neon flex rope lights and square mini or larger size neon led flexible light.

Aluminum slot chain is also suitable for most neon flex light,except double lighting effect neon flex strip lights.

The power cord and end cap installation of LED Neon Flex with copper wire,

A.   Insert the male pin into the 2 copper wire of the led neon flex. The male pin and the led neon flex must run straightly.

B.   Put the shrink tube over the Led neon flex.

C.   Add glue ( around 3 - 4cm long from the end of part of the led neon flex) on the led neon flex. Push the led neon flex into the power cord until the male pin completely disappear into the PVC connector of the power cord. Leave the glue a few seconds to dry before continuing installation.

D.   Push half of the shrink tube over the power cord and half over the led neon flex, then heat it up.

E.   Add glue ( around 1-2cm long ) from the end part of led neon flex and insert end cap on it. Push the shrink tube over the end cap and over the led neon flex and heat it up.

ATTENTION: Led neon flex has to be connected with correct polarity( + or -), otherwise it will not light on.

Use mounting clips to fix the led neon flex and screw them firm ( as show bellow）
